Streettalk is an approved Defensive Driving Course that reduces the restricted licence period by 6 months for the under 25 driver and by 3 months for those over 25. Those people under 25 will need to hold their restricted licence for at least 6 months before they can attend the course.

It teaches you how to recognise hazards on the roads and how to avoid dangerous situations that lead to accidents. It is an intensive and interactive course that comprises of 4 x two hour evening sessions in a classroom followed by a one on one practical on-road session.

Times and dates for the practical session will be made during the course. The practical session will take place in your own vehicle at the nearest full licence testing station, so all scenarios of the licence test can be met.

Make sure you arrive at our Streettalk Defensive Driving Course location 15 minutes prior to the course starting. Please bring a pen, a good attitude and your driver’s licence with you to the course.
