NZTA defends 'diabolical' test system

Interesting article in the herald last week:

The culture in regards to getting a drivers license in NZ really needs to change. There are very good reasons why the driving test was changed back in 2012.

We want people to be safe on the roads. We invest so much in our children, so why not spend money on professional driving lessons.

This way your child will learn to do things correctly and all you need to do is practice these new learned skills.

The fact that people hold a full drivers license does not necessarily mean that they are good drivers and are able to pass these skills onto their children.
