Vidya has been a driving instructor with A1 for over 5 years. Vidya is originally Fijian Indian, with a background as a secondary teacher for 12 years and an ESOL tutor at the University in Fiji. He moved to New Zealand in 1987, and set up his own business, which he successfully ran for 12 years. He then worked as a sales consultant for Barfoot and Thompson in Meadowbank. Vidya has been a Rotarian for over 25 years in Auckland, where he became President and was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow three times for his participation in major funding and charities both in New Zealand and the Pacific. He is a family man, who enjoys spending time with his family. Jaz emigrated to NZ from India in 2010, after graduating with two masters degrees in political science and languages. He then managed an electrical warehouse and in 2014, attained his truck licences. Jaz has worked in the transport industry since then, but branched out on his own doing contract transport work. Jaz also worked for 3 years as a driving instructor for a large driving school in Auckland. As well as standard driving lessons, he did fleet assessments for companies and defensive driving courses. Jaz is married with one child. Outside work he likes to spend time with his family and when time permits, he loves doing a bit of archery & horse riding.
