Christo has been a driving instructor with A1 for over 11 years. Prior to Christo's career as a driving instructor, he was in the South African police service. This is where Christo realised the importance of safe driving. Christo worked as a driving instructor for 4 years in Cape Town - teaching all classes of vehicles. Outside work Christo enjoys coaching karate. He represented South Africa in 1999. Christo also enjoys hiking, kayaking and spending time with his family.

LEE ZELTWANGER

SPECIALIST IN AUTOMATIC CAR DRIVER TRAINING

Can help you learn to drive in automatic car on the North Shore. Lee teaches in a VW Golf.

Lee is our youngest driving instructor. Born in West Auckland, he has a passion for cars that started long before he could legally drive on the road.

After finishing up at Massey High School, he studied Sport and Recreation, but his true love has always been motorsport.  He has always valued the importance of proper driver education. In his opinion, it’s important for young learners to take professional lessons, ensuring a high standard of driving from the start.

Lee began racing karts as a kid, building up years of experience on the track in all kinds of conditions. Now, as a seasoned driver and racer, he brings that same skill, safety, and passion to every lesson he teaches.
